Application for Associate Member status in
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists

Application Fee
Applicants are required to pay an application fee of $335.00(U.S.), which is a one-time fee separate from membership dues. This fee must be submitted with the application and is not refundable. Applications will not be processed until the application fee has been received. Payment may be made by the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
Annual Membership Dues
ACOG Associate Member membership dues are billed once the applicant is admitted as an ACOG Associate Member. Please note the ACOG Associate Member application fee is NOT part of dues. Payment of ACOG Associate Member membership dues invoice must be received within 90 days of admittance.
Eligibility Requirements
- A physician, within the geographic confines of the College, who has given valuable service in obstetrics and/or gynecology and who is not eligible to be a Fellow or Junior Fellow, subject to these additional qualifications:
- Successful completion of an examination, or certification, by a board other than those recognized by ACOG as a qualification for Fellow status; or
- Possession of an advanced degree with significant contributions in women's health. Each application will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in the jurisdiction or country where the applicant is licensed.
Additional Information
Please read the bylaws of ACOG, and the Code of Professional Ethics ( Click to view) before completing the application. Applicants must provide their medical license(s), and if board-certified, their board's certificate with the application. These documents should be scanned to a computer and electronically uploaded with the application. We accept documents with a file extension of .pdf, .png, .doc or .docx, .tif, jpeg, or .jpg. No other file extension types are allowed
Processing time can take up to four (4) weeks if the application is complete.
