Application Fee
 
Applicants are required to pay an application fee of $300.00(U.S.), which is a one-time fee separate from membership dues. This fee must be submitted with the application and is not refundable. Applications will not be processed until the application fee has been received. Payment may be made by the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
 
Annual Membership Dues
 
ACOG Fellow membership dues are billed once the applicant is admitted as an ACOG Fellow. Please note the ACOG Fellow application fee is NOT part of dues. Recently paid ACOG Junior Fellow dues will be prorated, and the applicable credit, if any, will be deducted from the ACOG Fellow membership dues. Payment of ACOG Fellow membership dues invoice must be received within 90 days of admittance.

 Eligibility Requirements

1. Certification and Continuing Certification in obstetrics, gynecology, or both from one of the boards recognized by the College Board of Directors:

  • American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Parts I and II
  • Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of England
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or Quebec
  • Consejo Mexicana de Ginecologia y Obstetricia
  • The University of the West Indies Postgraduate Doctorate Medicine
  • Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists
  • Federacion Centroamericana de Sociedades de Obstetricia y Gynecologia
  • Japanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (JSOG)
  • Sociedad Chilena de Obstetrica y Ginecologia (CONACEM)
  • European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG)
  • American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology(AOBOG)

Fellow status is also available to board certified physicians in other Latin American Sections (Argentina, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Peru).

2. Applicants must possess an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in each state, jurisdiction or country where the applicant is licensed.

Please read the bylaws of ACOG and the Code of Professional Ethics (Click to view) before completing the application. Applicants must provide their medical license(s) and their board certification certificate with the application. These documents should be scanned to a computer and electronically uploaded with the application. We accept documents with a file extension of .pdf, .png, .doc or .docx, .tif, jpeg, or .jpg. No other file extension types are allowed.
